Politics

With all of the political speeches, interviews, and talks, I have been spending a lot of time thinking about our country and the direction in which it is heading.  I came across this quote and found it quite profound.

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things.  The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse.  The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."
--John Stuart Mill (English Economist and Philosopher, 1806-1873)

I am proud to be an American.  I believe America is worth fighting for!  I vow to make it my personal goal to be a part of something bigger than myself!  U-S-A...U-S-A....U-S-A!!!

Kate and I enjoyed looking at your blog. She was very excited to see the dogs and the horse! Everytime I would scroll off of them, she would say, "back."

This is going to be a close political race for sure. I'm a little worried.
