6 Week Ultrasound

Bryan and I went for an ultrasound on Monday and were able to see our little baby and see/hear the heartbeat! It was an amazing experience. It is hard for me to get my head around the fact that there is another little heart beating inside of me! The baby's heart rate was 95. The doctor said that they like it to be over 100, so we have another ultrasound on Friday. They said that the heartbeat will start out slower and then speed up so he didn't seem to concerned. Because I am a fertility patient they are doing ultrasounds a lot earlier on me than on typical patients. I am posting our pictures. The top picture looks like a small turtle bungee jumping in my uterus. The second picture looks like a small shrimp (baby must have some of Daddy's Cajun in him/her!)
